Finding a New Rhythm

Thirty-Five Years of Reflection
There are seasons when the work we’ve been doing doesn’t necessarily end—it simply begins asking for a different form.
For more than thirty-five years, my work as a holistic image consultant has explored the relationship between identity, self-esteem, self-image, and style through the lens of the whole person: spirit, soul, and body.
What we believe about ourselves shapes the way we live and dress.
But what if what we believe isn’t true?
That question has followed me throughout my career.
It’s why my work has never simply been about finding flattering colors or putting together the right clothes. Color and style became tools for something deeper: helping women see themselves more clearly.
The mirror is not a judge. The mirror is a witness.
For many years, I explored these ideas with women through teaching, workshops, and shared experiences.
Today, I’m finding a new rhythm.
I’m taking the experiences, stories, ideas, and practical tools developed over decades of work and putting them on the page.
From Blueprint to Becoming™
My Blueprint to Becoming™ collection brings much of that work together through books, journals, practical resources, and small-group studies.
The collection begins with four Color Story books:
Spring Color Story
Summer Color Story
Autumn Color Story
Winter Color Story

Each explores color as more than a formula or a list of rules. Color becomes another way to recognize what is already present and learn to work with it rather than against it.
The collection also includes the Becoming Story Journal and Color Clarity Guide, with a companion small-group study planned to follow the books.
Future resources, including Your Shape Story and Your Style Story, will continue exploring the connection between style, spirit, soul, and body.
But books are only part of this new rhythm.
I’m also writing the stories and reflections that have shaped both my life and my work.
Stories about the mirror.
Identity.
Beauty.
Clothes.
Healing.
Faith.
Restoration.
Freedom.
And becoming.
The deepest part of my work was never really about changing how a woman looked.
It was about helping her see.
To recognize what is true.
To release what no longer belongs.
To become more comfortable with the woman looking back at her in the mirror.
And to allow the way she lives and dresses to become an authentic expression of who she is.
I believe restoration reveals authenticity—in the lives we live and the clothes we wear.
Beauty is the evidence of a life being restored.
This is the work I’m carrying forward.
Just in a new rhythm.

On Beauty Is the Evidence, my Substack publication, I’m sharing these stories & reflections. Some will make you smile. Others may make you think. A few may even challenge the way you see yourself.
They’re all part of the same story.
If these are conversations you’d like to continue, I’d love to have you join me there.
