My Color Story
The Blog Series
From Blueprint to Becoming Through Color
Color has always been part of my life — long before I understood it, named it, or wore it well.
Before palettes and seasons entered my vocabulary, color was already shaping how I expressed myself, how I created, and how I showed up in the world. What I didn’t realize then was that God was gently using color as a language — one that would eventually reveal misalignment, invite reflection, and lead me back to His original design.
My Color Story is a personal series that traces that unfolding — not as a straight line, but as a layered journey of awareness, missteps, discovery, and becoming.
This hub gathers all the parts of the story in one place so you can follow the progression — from curiosity to correction to clarity — one chapter at a time.
What This Series Is About
This series is not about perfection.
It’s about process.
It’s about what happens when something feels off — even when you can’t yet explain why.
Throughout this series, color becomes:
-
A mirror for identity
-
A marker of alignment (or misalignment)
-
A quiet teacher
-
A bridge between creativity, confidence, and calling
Each chapter reflects a distinct season in the journey — because becoming is revealed over time.
The Color Story Series
Part 1 — The Colors That Changed Me
How Discovering My Palette Transformed My Confidence and Career
This opening chapter begins with childhood wonder and early creative expression — a life quietly shaped by color long before it was conscious or defined.
It sets the foundation for why color mattered before I ever understood how it worked.

Part 2 — Wearing the Wrong Color Palette
Living in Misalignment Before Understanding Why
Part 2 explores what happens after awareness but before understanding.
At this stage, I believed I had identified my palette — but something wasn’t quite right. I was wearing colors that should have worked, yet they didn’t fully reflect who I am. Confidence felt inconsistent. Expression felt slightly disconnected.
This chapter is about:
-
Wearing colors that weren’t truly aligned
-
The subtle discomfort of “almost right.”
-
How misalignment shows up before clarity arrives
-
Learning through experience, not rules
I didn’t yet know what was wrong — only that something felt off.

Part 3 — When Color Became My Calling
From Personal Discovery to Purposeful Work
Years later, color resurfaced with greater clarity.
This chapter marks the shift from confusion to confidence — when deeper understanding replaced assumptions, and alignment began to form naturally. Color was no longer something I tried to make work.
It became something I lived.

Part 4 — Coming Soon
Living in Alignment, Not Just Awareness
The final chapter will explore what it means to live in your palette with intention — allowing color to support daily expression, confidence, and identity as a way of life.
✨ Part 4 is currently being written.
How This Series Connects to the Bigger Picture
My Color Story is part of the larger From Blueprint to Becoming framework — where style is not about reinvention, but restoration.
Color is often the first thing women notice when misalignment occurs — before they have the language for it. When explored gently, it becomes an invitation to return to what fits, what reflects, and what restores.
This series connects naturally with:
-
Your Color Story (course)
-
Simple Guidelines for Building a Smart Wardrobe in Every Season
-
The DNA Style philosophy — Design. Nature. Authentic.
This series lives within the larger framework of Restoring the Whole Woman: Spirit, Soul, and Style, where healing, identity, and outward expression are viewed as connected — not separate.
An Invitation to the Reader
If you’ve ever felt like your wardrobe was almost right — but not fully you — this story is for you.
Misalignment is not failure.
It’s often the first sign that clarity is on the way.
Color has a way of revealing what words cannot — and guiding us back to what fits.
These stories are part of an upcoming color course called Your Color Story. You’re welcome to join the waitlist here.
